Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is Brigadeiro?

Brigadeiro is the most popular Brazilian dessert. The traditional one is made from simple ingredients, such as condensed milk, cocoa, and butter, slowly cooked at the right temperature to achieve a soft and chewy texture.Similar to fudge or truffle, but better!

  • How was it created?

The Brigadeiro's story is as sweet as its taste! Back in the 1940s, clever Brazilians combined condensed milk, cocoa powder, butter, and chocolate sprinkles to create these delightful chocolate balls. They named them "brigadeiros" in tribute to Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes, a popular military figure. And just like that, a delicious national treasure was born! Brigadeiros have been a hit at parties ever since, bringing joy with each chocolaty bite.

  • Are there any specific allergy cautions or allergens that customers should be aware of when consuming this product?

Our patisseries are made with care, but the machines we use are sometimes shared. They also touch dairy, soy, eggs, tree nuts, coconut, and wheat (gluten). If you're not friends with these allergens, please know that even though we're careful, our patisseries might still have traces. So if these allergens bother you, it's safer not to munch on them.
